Herbs For Health

Herbs have been used for health throughout the history of man, while in modern times pharmaceuticals have taken the place of herbs. Some may be unaware of the fact that a majority of pharmaceutical drugs are derived from natural sources such as (plants, fungi, bacteria, and vertebrates.) The difference with pharmaceuticals and herbs, is, in the case of pharmaceuticals, chemical compounds are extracted from the above mentioned natural sources, which then later go on to become the medicine or pharmaceutical drugs.
So where do herbs fit in these modern times and how does one go about using them to better one’s health. Its important to keep in mind that this article primary purpose is to outline the use of herbs to help accelerate the healing process and specifically layout which herbs help with particular ailments. Just like a miracle pill doesn’t exist that solves all problems, much in the same way, an herb will not cure your ailment, it must be used alongside a proper diet and exercise to see some improvement. I recommend, a detox diet along side an herbal supplement. Keep in mind, that you don’t combine herbs and take multiple different herbs, its important to stick to one for a period of time.
